About me

I've been married to my fabulous husband, Josh, since July 11, 2009.  We met in college, when I was lucky enough to be partnered with this cute guy in our public speaking class. We dated for 5 years before we were married.  He's my perfect balance and goes along with (almost) all of my crazy DIY ideas.

We were married for 10 months before we found out we were expecting our first baby.  Caleb was born in January of 2011 and made us happier than we ever could have dreamed. 

 

We welcomed our second baby boy in December of 2012 and Eli has brought such joy to our family.

Our boys are each so different but are the best of friends which warms my Mommy heart to watch.  

I'm a reasonable perfectionist and love all things DIY.  I made my own decor/invitations/all paper products for my wedding which was one of my happiest times in my life.  We are working on updating our new home with the help of paint and hard work.  It will be a slow process but hopefully a fun one and I look forward to sharing our progress.

I write about our crazy life with two little boys and my love of cooking, baking, and DIY adventures.  I write for myself, to remember these moments when our boys were little, and to share our experiences as I have learned from so many others.
